Away Mission [Video]
Grab the popcorn because it’s movie time! With a little more test footage laying around from my recent GoPro Hero test, I wanted put together some shots from my Axial SCX10. As far as cameras are concerned, I have been blown away by the quality that the Hero is producing. I’m looking foward to shooting more footage with this camera and experimenting with some different angles and perspectives. For those of you looking for an inexpensive way to mount an action camera to your rig, try a few zip/cable ties and a spring-clamp. You can find both of these items at your local hardware store or online. Feel free to experiment with the positioning of the clamp and mount as well. I was able to get some interesting camera angles by clamping the camera to the front bumper, upper roll cage, and even the front fender.
Adding some fun to this shoot, I put Captain Jean Luc Picard behind the wheel of my Jeep for a little exploration of a new "planet" inhabited by some strange alien lifeforms (my kids). As always, I hope you enjoy the video and hope you'll subscribe for more!
