Custom Works Outlaw 3 Pro-comp R/C Sprint Car Kit
R/C racing has many similarities to 1:1 motorsport. One of which is the many classes and vehicle types that can be built and raced. While traditional buggies, truggies, touring and VTA cars are one way to go, winged sprint cars are another unique way to fulfill your desire for competition.
Custom Works RC, known for their radio-controlled late model stock and sprint car kits, has an updated version of their Outlaw sprint car that’s ready to kick up some dirt. The Outlaw 3 Pro-comp kit not only has scale looks that it shares with 1:1 sprint cars, but it also features a number of competition-minded components to help get you to the front of the pack.
A carbon-fiber chassis serves as the foundation for the vehicle, on which sits a realistic roll cage frame. Both front and rear suspension can be adjusted, with the Outlaw 3 featuring an updated shock design with a one-piece aluminum body and screw-on cap. Adjustable suspension arms (toe) are also part of this package, allowing for maximum tuning.
The Outlaw 3 sprint car kit also includes durable aluminum front axles and titanium turnbuckles, a ball bearing bell crank steering setup, and more.
The kit requires a few other components before you’re ready to hit the track, including a 2-channel radio, steering servo, motor, electronic speed controller (ESC), battery, and racing tires.
The Outlaw 3 Pro-comp kit is priced at $449.00 and is available online at select hobby shops. Learn more about this, and other Custom Works models at customworksrc.com.
