Meet the SixtyFour Hopping Lowrider from Redcat

By: Tim Gluth

Redcat has taken their love for scale and turned it toward the unique world of lowriders. Their latest creation is the SixtyFour Hopping Lowrider. Wrapped in a stunning replica of the 1964 Chevy Impala, the SixtyFour takes 1/10-scale scale realism to the next level with this fully functional hopping machine.

Dripping in chrome, the SixtyFour features an officially-licensed 1964 Chevy Impala body and more body details than you can shake a stick at. From bumper-to-bumper and everywhere in-between, Redcat has decked this low-riding jewel with jaw-dropping detail.

The details don't stop with the exterior either. The interior of the SixtyFour includes a detailed inner tray to keep the style flowing inside and out.

With as beautiful as the exterior of this car is, the real treasure might be under the hood. Three internal servos help this car come to life with real lift and hop action. A Reef's RC 300 powers the hopping functionality while two HexFly 25kg servos handle the rear axle height adjustment.

A 6-channel radio system lets you control every aspect of this car, from driving and steering to lifting and hopping. The SixtyFour is truly a unique model that's sure to raise some eyebrows at your next R/C gathering.

Two body styles are available for the SixtyFour, a red Classic Edition, and a blue Jevries edition. Both color schemes include detailed decal sheets for further customization and personalization.
