Team Associated Rolls out the Limited Edition Nomad DB8 Rock Racer

Sometimes, you just need to go fast, jump obstacles, and let loose with a radio-controlled machine. One of the best opportunities to achieve this level of zen is with a rock racer or off-road vehicle. To that end, Team Associated has introduced a ready-to-run (RTR) trail-trouncer which is sure to grab some attention this summer.

Their Limited Edition Nomad DB8 is a 1/8-scale, 4-wd, brushless-powered beast which looks to be a competitor to Axial’s Yeti XL with power and durability at its core. This massive vehicle rides on oil-filled shocks and gets grip from four General Tire “Grabbers”.

The low-slung appearance of this machine should make it handle well at higher speeds. The Nomad DB8 achieves its speed through the 2000kv Reedy brushless motor and LiPo-ready electronic speed control (ESC).  Not included in this RTR kit is a LiPo battery (T-plug connector) or compatible charger.
