Trail Truck Transformation: Customizing My Element RC Enduro Sendero RTR
The Element RC Enduro Sendero RTR has been a fun trail truck to wheel over the past year. While perfectly capable in stock configuration, this truck has taken on a life of its own thanks to some recent upgrades.
As mentioned in my Pro-Line 1977 Dodge Ramcharger body review, I had plans to turn the Enduro into a rather specific pickup truck replica, however, those plans changed and I ended up with something that might be even better. While that's up for debate, one thing remains true; this truck has gone through an array of changes since arriving in my R/C garage in 2019.
My Current Element RC Sendero RTR Upgrade list:
- Pro-Line Rock Shooter 1.9" Aluminum Composite Beadlock Wheels
- Pro-Line Interco TrXus 1.9" G8 Rock Terrain Tires
- Pro-Line 1977 Dodge Ramcharger R/C Crawler Body
While all of these changes have been cosmetic, they've really given this rig a new attitude and feel. Best of all, all of these upgrades are easy to perform and will have you on the trail in no-time.
With the exterior of my Element RC Enduro successfully modified, it's time to turn my attention to the chassis. The updates that I'm considering are; added low-end weight, IFS conversion, inner fenders, new shocks, and a servo winch.
Until the next round of upgrades begins, I'm thoroughly enjoying this new-look trail rig and can't wait to get it out for another adventure.
