Traxxas Revs up a New Rally Car: NOS Deegan 38 1/10-scale

Traxxas hasn’t made much noise on the rally car front since they introduced their 1/10 Rally in 2012. That silence has been broken with the introduction of their new 1/10 Scale NOS Deegan 38 4WD Rally Car.

This replica of Brian Deegan’s #38 Ford Fiesta ST sits on top of the same low center of gravity chassis used on the original Traxxas Rally, however there are a few differences underneath the hood. For starters, the new ready-to-run (RTR) NOS Deegan 38 replica uses a Titan 12-turn brushed motor vs a brushless powerplant. That said, the “Deeg” is brushless ready, offering an easy upgrade path for faster speeds and higher performance.

Outside of the motor, the electronics are waterproof/water-resistant for fun in any weather condition. An included TQ 2.4GHz radio system and Traxxas iD-equipped NiMH battery will get you up and running as soon as you top off the battery.

While the internal specs are solid, the real draw of this new model is the replica body. The Ford Fiesta ST body looks amazing and features a full graphics package to mimic the 1:1 rally car that Brian Deegan pilots.
